Menu del Dia. Our new lunch menu features a section titled Menu del Dia (menu of the day). In Spain, when General Franco was in power, he declared that all restaurants must serve an inexpensive fixed price menu at lunch, so that the laborers could have access to affordable and nutritious meals. Today these menus live on, and are a great way for travelers to sample a 3-4 course meal for a very reasonable cost. I enjoyed many of these while visiting Barcelona and I think our guests are really going to like the variety of dishes that we are offering. As in Spain, our lunch menu still features many of our longtime ‘guest favorites’ (yes, you can still get the scallops). Hope to see you soon!
